Is Your New Biker Still Actively Dating Online?

Online dating has become so popular that most new couples now meet on the Internet, and the same goes for bikers. When you’re looking to meet local bikers, the first thing you do is check out what’s on the web. That’s normal 2017 dating behaviour. But what happens when you start seeing someone, and you realize he still has an active profile on the site or app where you met? Today we look at what’s OK and what isn’t when it comes to keeping an online dating profile when you’re in a relationship.

#1: He Still Has A Profile, But You’re Not Exclusive Yet

If you see that your biker match still has an online dating profile despite the fact that you’ve gone out a couple of times, you can take that to mean that your relationship hasn’t reached that level where the two of you are exclusive. The fact that he hasn’t deleted the profile doesn’t necessarily mean he doesn’t like you, but it could mean he’s keeping his options open in case you don’t like him. In the early stages of a relationship, there is no need to stress over the little things, but if you feel that you’re ready to be exclusive, you have to say so. Don’t expect him to be a mind reader and be open and honest about what you feel.

#2: You’ve Become Exclusive, But He’s Still Got His Profile

The first question you need to ask yourself is whether the profile is still active. It’s safe to say that most biker men wouldn’t think that it was a big deal if they forgot to delete their dating profile or app. And if they’re not using it, it is not a big deal. On the other hand, if the profile is active and you’ve agreed to be exclusive, then you need to think about whether you’re investing more into the relationship than he is. Again, the key is communication, and no good can come from keeping this to yourself. If what he’s doing is bothering you, find the right time to tell him how you feel. Maybe you’ll realize that his angle about keeping the profile is totally different from yours, which will give you a chance to understand him better.

#3: You’re Exclusive, But He Doesn’t Want To Delete The Profile

If your relationship has progressed enough that you feel he should delete the profile, but he disagrees, it’s time to rethink your reasons for being with him. As difficult as this is, such a person may not be suitable for long-term commitment. Listen to what he has to say and weigh it against your values and beliefs about what a serious relationship means to you, and if your attitudes are too far apart, it’s probably best to end things sooner rather than later. Online dating is dating no matter how you look at it, and you need to know where you stand, and whether it’s time to start looking for another biker connection or stay put and see how things develop.
